I used to have the same problem. Then a girl I worked with told me her secret...she eats a bowl of Jell-o every day. The gelatin helps to strengthen your nails and is good for your hair too. If you cant stand to eat the stuff, then get some gelatin capsules from any health food store.
This worked for me, and now, I have awesome nails.....look like they have been professionally done up.
