Keep them short at first so you can't pick or bite at them. Then pile on the dairy products for calcium! Drink lots and lots of milk and eat yoghurt and cheese and white bread. Calcium makes for strong, healthy nails.
Once a day, rub olive oil or lip balm onto your nails. This acts as cuticle oil and it'll make your nails healthier and shinier.Help! I have brittle nails :(?
sally Hansen makes a great clear polish called tough as nails or something and it works great i use it as a top coat or by itself and my nails aren't brittle any more. Also don't chip away or tear your nails it's damaging your nails.
You can apply olive or coconut oil to your nails before going to bed, this will help make them strong and healthy.
