Question on brittle nails?

I have really brittle nails. They tend to break easily and usually i can like peel layers off them from where little splits form. Why is this? I think it might be because i'm under nourished... i just want to know. Thanks :)Question on brittle nails?
i have this same problem and i put it down to wear and tear


try using a clear base coat


or its probably because you use nail varnish remover

OPI makes this great stuff called Nail Envy. They even make a special formula for brittle nails. It's a little pricey at about $15 a bottle, but it lasts a long time.
