I've heard that consuming gelatin works, also that eating 1 tablespoon of plain mustard per day or something will help that.

If all else fails you could try one of those ';nail strengthening'; polishes from the grocery store, though I can't speak for how effective they are.
Brittle nails come from calcium deficiency. You could eat or drink things that have calcium in it, or you could start taking supplements.

Also, make sure to moisturize often with a hand cream and you could try wearing gloves when you do things like wash the dishes. Eat more foods with essential fatty acids helps too. Examples: eggs, meat, seeds, whole grains, and fish.
Dr LeWinns revitanail is great its a nail polish that u paint on every night for seven nights take it off and starts again. It makes your nails stronger and helps them grow its just magic my friends and I have had wonderful results. its about $24.95 at pharmacies xoxo
Apply Witch Hazel to your nails every am and pm.

I had horrid problem nails, this really cleared them up!

*Take your calcium 3x's a day as well.
